Antique late-Victorian chamber pot by W. T. Copeland & Sons (Spode), Stoke-on-Trent.
Ivory Imperial earthenware with spiral-fluted body, flared rim, single handle, and footed base. Blue printed crowned Sutherland family cipher on the front. Underside marked with the royal-warrant arms, “W.T. Copeland & Sons Stoke-on-Trent,” and “Spode Imp. Rd No 90067” (trademark registered 1890).
This piece came from storage at Dunrobin Castle, seat of the Earls and Countesses of Sutherland, and is accompanied by official authentication. Circa 1880s.
Condition: great antique condition with typical glaze specks and light wear consistent with age. No cracks or repairs.
Measures 9 1/4" deep x 5 1/2" tall x 11" with handle. Two available.
